The Block Party was a blast last year and we’re expecting the same this year. Before our neighbors break for Summer vacation, camps, and the beach there’s nothing better than coming together as a neighborhood.

Here’s what we’ve planned so far:

• Date: Friday June 13th from 5:30-9ish

• Music: the Luvable Idiots are back by popular demand

• Food: smoked meats available for purchase from our neighbor Slicen Dyson. Please pack a picnic or have food delivered if you prefer.

• Adult Drinks: we’re going lighter on the adult beverages this year given the leftovers last year. Please feel free to bring your own cooler if you prefer.

• Activities: Sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and other toddler diversions. Please volunteer to if you’d like to organize a Cornhole tournament or set up a basketball tournament.

• Location: We’ve moved slightly north to Highland Av between Allegheny Av and Park Av. This will reduce the street crossings to the Dino park and provide access to the basketball courts and playground.

Use the opportunity to catch up with friends from across the neighborhood and make new ones. Have your kids celebrate the end of the school year with their classmates in a ready-made party. Please let us know you’re coming so we can plan accordingly.
