Dumpster Option: Reduce that winter clutter and take advantage of our community dumpster.
We will not be able to accept: paint, solvents, pesticides, pool chemicals, acids, caustics, gasoline, mercury thermometers/thermostats, syringes, fire extinguishers, propane tanks, helium tanks, fluorescent light bulbs, and any other solid, liquid, or gaseous substance that's regulated as hazardous by State or Federal Law.
Charity option: If you have soft textiles (eg: clothes, shoes, towels, sheets, rugs, curtains, blankets, hats) in any condition, neighborhood Girl Scout Troop #1417 will pick up your stuff this Saturday!! They will collect/ donate these to SAVERS, an organization that recycles what they can't resell.
In addition, they are also collecting children's books (especially Dogman, Big Nate, Captain Underpants, and graphic novels) to give to elementary school children with minimal resources who want to read! Not only does this raise money for the troop, but helps pass along your goods to those that can better use them.
