New Bylaws passed unanimously

After a final push, we’ve crossed the finish line.

As a capstone on an effort going back to October, 33 neighbors voted unanimously to pass our bylaws in mid-January. Updating our Association’s rule book was a necessary step to help the Board more efficiently serve the neighborhood. The new bylaws will enable the Board to:

  • Focus our effort on helping the neighborhood, not parsing rules or following complex procedures

  • Set clear expectations for all Board members and make it easier for people to join the Board

  • Reflect how the current Board wants to operate

As part of soliciting feedback about the proposed changes, neighbors requested the we make the bylaws and board meeting minutes readily available. For that reason we’ve updated the ‘About’ section of the website with our bylaws and a link to our meeting minutes.
